Are you ready for a new challenge in labor law?
Are you an outgoing problem solver with good social skills and a strong interest in employer issues? We are looking for an engaged and competent negotiator to work with labor law matters alongside us!
The position is located in the municipality's HR department, which consists of 21 people working directly with the municipality's various administrations.
We are a welcoming team with great commitment and extensive experience in the HR field!
Job Responsibilities
You will provide service to our administrations through advice and handling of labor law matters, as well as conducting information sessions and training on labor law-related topics. Additionally, you will work with negotiation activities in the form of dispute and co-determination negotiations, including interpretation, application, and development of current collective agreements, as well as participating in collective bargaining negotiations. The tasks are varied, and the opportunities for development are significant. You will report to the head of negotiations.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience in labor law and negotiations from an employer's perspective. You have relevant academic education or other experience that the employer deems sufficient for the role of negotiator.
We believe you are a person with a strong ability to work solution-oriented and are flexible and unafraid to take your own initiatives. To fit the role, we also see that you are outgoing, social, and communicative, as the work involves many different contacts, both internally and externally.
A valid driver's license (category B) is required.

The municipal management administration operates under the municipal board and is responsible for leading, coordinating, supporting, and monitoring the overall municipal operations.
During the interview, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Accepted documents include a passport, international ID card, driver's license + personal certificate from the Tax Agency, or other ID documents that support citizenship. For some positions, a certificate from the police's suspicion and criminal record register is required.
We welcome language skills in Finnish and/or any of the Sámi varieties, as Örnsköldsvik municipality is part of both Finnish and Sámi administrative areas.
In our municipality, several positions are classified in a security class, so a security review may take place. These positions require Swedish citizenship.
