Are you a medical care administrator looking for a challenging and varied job? In the Urology Department, a collegial community awaits you where the work environment and teamwork are important to us.

We are now looking for you, a positive and engaged medical care administrator, interested in participating in the development of the clinic's administrative unit. You enjoy various tasks and find it stimulating with a rolling and varied weekly schedule. You are flexible and work well independently, but also have good collaboration skills. You will be part of the administrative unit with 12 medical care administrators and a unit manager. We have good cooperation with other professional categories in our care program groups and teamwork.

The Urology Department operates at two of the region's three hospitals, Örebro University Hospital and Karlskoga Hospital. We have a broad urological practice that includes both basic urology and most types of highly specialized urological surgery. We also have extensive research activities and an educational mission within both nursing and medical education. At Örebro University Hospital, there is a care ward, an operating department, a day surgery unit, shock wave treatment, an administrative unit, a research and development unit, and an outpatient clinic.

Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) is one of the region's three acute hospitals where we provide advanced healthcare, research, and education. In both 2020 and 2019, USÖ received the prestigious award for Best University Hospital from Dagens Medicin. USÖ won the most significant category for medical quality, had the best results in accessibility, economy, and in avoiding pressure ulcers and overcrowding. In Urology Administration, we work with journal and patient documentation both in outpatient and inpatient care, certificates, referral handling, document scanning, and mail management. The medical care administrators have many of their own areas of responsibility, not least within our five SVF (standardized care pathways) where they play a significant role as coordinators. We handle IT issues and orders, statistics, quality registers, preparations for rounds, waiting lists, and patient summons, follow-up of certain patient groups, and research administration. All medical care administrators receive internal training in diagnosis classification, and skills development occurs continuously.
