FMTIS has a collective responsibility for the Armed Forces' technical command systems. The systems support military operations at sea, on land, and in the air - in Sweden and abroad. FMTIS is present wherever the Armed Forces are. The command has over 2000 employees in more than 30 locations across the country.
The staff is the commander's support in leading and managing the unit. Within the staff, there are various operational functions including HR/personnel, intelligence and security services, communication, finance, and logistics. The staff also includes the unit's operational leadership and planning function. Signal protection is a central part of protecting the Armed Forces' command systems and information assets.

Main responsibilities
As an Administrator at FMTIS Staff J6, you will be part of the Command Systems Department. The department consists of the functions IT, Signal Protection, Cyber, and Command Systems. Your task is to act as administrative support primarily to the IT and signal protection functions. Your main tasks include handling IT orders, allocating incoming cases, card administration, and providing basic user support within signal protection. You will also be part of a management team where you will represent the department across all of its functions.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Completed high school education with passing grades in a relevant field, or equivalent that the employer deems relevant.
- Several years of experience in administrative work.
- Good oral and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.
- Driving license B.
Personal qualities
We are looking for someone who is independent and driven with the ability to structure their own and others' work. You are meticulous and maintain good security, despite many simultaneous tasks. You are flexible and have a knack for creating networks and maintaining relationships. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
DESIRABLE
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the Armed Forces and the unit's operations.
- Experience working in roles as an administrator or clerk.
- Knowledge and experience in signal protection.
- Knowledge of the Armed Forces' IT and communication systems.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and guidelines for government agencies.
- Previous experience of service in a staff position.
Other
The employment is a full-time permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. The position can be applied for by both military and civilian personnel.
Employment rate: Full-time
Work location: Örebro, regular travel in the position is expected.
Start date: by agreement
