About the Position
We are looking for two Data Administrators for Statistics Sweden (SCB) in Örebro. In the role of Data Administrator at SCB, you will be part of a team that supports the authority's data collection and management processes. Your main tasks will consist of production work in one or more teams responsible for collecting data from businesses, organizations, and the public sector. The role involves working with data collection, processing, and delivery, which may include reviewing and coding response data as well as various administrative tasks such as print orders, correspondence, and mailings.
The tasks are varied and involve both independent work and close collaboration within the team. You will have ongoing contacts with various stakeholders in the organization and contribute to ensuring that information is handled correctly and that the data collection process runs smoothly according to plan. SCB is Sweden's statistical authority and plays an important role in producing statistics used as a basis for decisions, research, and societal development.
The position includes the following tasks:
- Collecting, processing, and providing data which may include reviewing, coding response data, or other administrative work for data collection such as print orders, correspondence, and mailings,
- Managing contacts with data providers
- Continuously presenting development proposals and needs to the production manager, e.g., by updating the survey's logbook.
- Planning and evaluating products/surveys (updating work routine descriptions, writing documentation, compiling process data.)
- Implementing new data collection tools or work processes.
- Training new data administrators.
- Investigative, improvement, and development work within the product/survey.
Assignment Period and Scope
The position as Administrator is a full-time consultancy assignment starting as soon as possible and is expected to last until 2026-12-31 with the possibility of extension for up to six (6) months.
The work takes place on-site at the authority's premises in Örebro.
Requirements for the Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
- Experience collaborating in teams.
- Experience interacting with businesses, the public sector, and/or organizations in advisory situations.
- At least three (3) years of work experience as an administrator/assistant
