Main tasks and responsibilities:

About the role

As an accountant at EcoGuard, you will work operationally and development-oriented with a focus on quality, structure, and improvement.

Main tasks:

• Ongoing accounting, account reconciliations, and quality assurance of bookkeeping.
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and related reporting to the group.
• Budgeting and forecasting work.
• VAT management (Swedish and international VAT), including reconciliations and reporting.
• Internal reporting and performance monitoring, including project follow-up.
• Close collaboration with other functions in the organization.
• Active participation in the streamlining, automation, and digitization of the finance function.

Your profile

We wish that you have:

• Post-secondary education in accounting or finance from a university/college.
• Some years of experience in qualified accounting work.
• Experience with monthly and annual financial statements.
• Experience with group accounting and the IFRS regulations.
• Good knowledge of VAT and tax management.
• Very good knowledge of Excel.
• Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• A strong interest in systems, automation, and process improvements.

Practical information

• Start: Immediately or by agreement
• Scope: Full-time, permanent (with an initial probationary period of 6 months)
• Workplace: In newly renovated premises at EcoGuard's headquarters at Klerkgatan 18, Örebro
• Salary: By agreement and in line with the company's salary structure, your competence, and experience.
