About the job
At the information center, you are the face of the Swedish Tax Agency. You answer questions about population registration primarily from private individuals and guide them on how to best use our e-services. You build trust by being attentive and having a good attitude. The questions mainly come via phone. You take responsibility for keeping yourself updated on news and changes within your work area. With the help of various digital information channels, you also seek answers during the conversation with the customer.
Most questions are simple and can be answered quickly, but some are more complex. The job also includes administrative tasks such as sending personal certificates and various forms. A few cases can also be handled directly during the conversation with the customer. In this job, you will be in contact with customers all day and you will meet a diverse range of people.
You work in a team close to your colleagues, providing and receiving support from each other. You will develop in customer service and gain broad knowledge in the field of population registration. At the information center, you have scheduled working hours and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.
You belong to an information section in the Population and Property Department located in Jönköping. In the section, we will be about 20 people.
About you

You should also have:
- completed higher education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in law, behavioral science, or social science
- current work experience in customer support where you have answered incoming questions via phone or in-person meetings
- good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.
It is desirable that you have current and relevant experience working in customer support within public operations or other results-oriented activities.
Good to know
The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
