Do you want to work closely with both people and employers and help more individuals gain access to work? Mullsjö Municipality is now looking for a labor market coordinator who wants to help develop our new education and labor market operations.

In the spring of 2026, the municipality will launch a new operation that combines adult education, financial assistance, integration, and the labor market unit. The goal is to guide, educate, and coach residents towards work or studies while strengthening the path to self-sufficiency.

In this role, you will play a central part in supporting individuals who are far from the labor market and developing collaborations with local employers, associations, and other stakeholders. Internship positions and labor market policy employment will be created and followed up within both the business sector and municipal operations.

The operation also includes the Service Group in Mullsjö, which performs municipal tasks such as property services, land maintenance, cleaning, laundry, and vehicle maintenance. Here, work preparation tasks are combined with labor market policy employment.

Training will also be provided in labor market knowledge and various vocational tracks in close collaboration with educational providers and employers. The operation also encompasses the municipality's responsibility for youth activities, adult education, and the reception and settlement of newcomers.

Together with managers and colleagues, you will contribute to developing and driving the operation forward. The work is characterized by collaboration, participation, and a strong belief in individuals' abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with managers and colleagues, you will be responsible for the establishment and implementation of a completely new operation aimed at adults who are far from the labor market. This primarily concerns youth, foreign-born individuals, or persons who, for various reasons, are far from the labor market due to challenges related to health and life situation.

As a labor market coordinator, you will have a broad area of responsibility with many varying tasks. You will work closely with your colleagues on mapping, interviews, employer contacts, requirement profiling, staffing, and matching to available positions and possible internship opportunities.

You will coach and support your participants who are out on their assignments, as interns or employees, in municipal operations or in the local business community. Your goal is for employers to hire the participants or staff you are responsible for, with or without employment support.

In addition, you will also lead and administer targeted project initiatives that are partially externally funded.

In Mullsjö Municipality, there are many industrial companies that want to collaborate. Despite the economic downturn, many industrial companies find it difficult to find and recruit new staff.

Your task is to coordinate and lead the Industrial Track. Your colleagues work to both guide and educate within the Industrial Track, and your focus will be to find more industrial companies that want to collaborate with us in this initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A degree from a university, likely with a focus on social sciences or another direction that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience in similar work or outreach and external activities.
• Knowledge of work environment and personnel issues.
• Experience in driving projects or assignments, with a strong personal drive where collaboration with others is of utmost importance.
• You are unpretentious and enjoy varied work, taking care of both large and small tasks. It is also natural for you to support and help a colleague.
• You are a good listener who understands and can easily empathize with employers' needs, with broad experience in successfully motivating, coaching, or leading others. Your patience is great.
• You thrive in change and development work and have no problem understanding other operations or building operations that have not previously existed, where you primarily set the frameworks yourself.
• You express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite.
• Driver's license B.
