Junior Accountant

Our client, a small manufacturing company in the construction industry, is looking for a junior accountant to ensure quality and structure in the ongoing accounting. You will have the opportunity to grow in a dynamic environment, with support from experienced colleagues who actively build the company's financial management.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in our client's finance function, primarily focusing on ongoing accounting and financial administration. You will ensure quality and structure in the daily financial flows, as well as contribute with simpler follow-ups and support to production. In this role, you will have close communication with the company's management, where you will together drive the work of creating structure and developing financial management for the future.

The assignment begins as a consultancy assignment through us, with the ambition to transition to a permanent position with the client after a period of collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Duties

This role involves operational responsibility for ongoing accounting and financial administration, focusing on maintaining high quality and structure in the company's financial processes. In this role, you will also handle invoicing and supplier invoices. You will act as a support to production through simpler cost follow-ups, preparation of simpler reports in Excel, and assistance in budget and forecasting work. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring good data quality between Monitor and Fortnox by identifying discrepancies and flagging these to the responsible party.

• Ongoing bookkeeping, coding, and periodization
• Management of customer and supplier ledgers as well as incoming and outgoing payments
• VAT declarations, periodic summaries, and AGI
• Account reconciliations and preparation of documentation for monthly closings, auditors, and group finance

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has 1-3 years of work experience in accounting, ongoing bookkeeping, and ledger management
• Has experience with VAT declarations and AGI
• Has experience participating in monthly closings
• Has very good knowledge of Excel and experience with Fortnox or similar financial systems
• Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience from the manufacturing industry
• Experience with the Monitor system
• Experience in simpler controlling/follow-up
