We are looking for a communications specialist

We are looking for someone who is good at listening and understanding different communication needs, is a good writer, and has a strong ability to collaborate with others.

The Unit

The position is based at the County Administrative Board of Jönköping, Communication and GIS Unit within the Management and Operational Support Department. Currently, there are 11 people in the unit, of which 7 work with communication, 1 with a national web assignment, and 3 work with GIS (Geographic Information Systems). You will be based at the County Administrative Board in Jönköping and will work digitally in meetings and dialogues with other county administrative boards.

Job Responsibilities

You will work full-time on joint assignments for the county administrative boards in a team with a colleague from the communication group.

You and your colleague will help each other find good solutions in the joint assignments. In addition to ongoing communication work, this may involve creating new texts or adjusting existing ones based on plain language, ordering new or adjusting existing templates, updating or creating new collaboration platforms, and analyzing statistics.

Qualifications

You have a university degree in media and communication studies. Furthermore, you have experience working with national assignments in a government agency. In addition to an interest in society, you also have high digital competence and experience with SharePoint and WordPress. You need to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are service-oriented, attentive, secure and stable, solution-oriented, and have excellent collaboration skills. You find it easy to evaluate and integrate new information, keep your promises, and get things done. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.

Conditions

The position is full-time and permanent. We apply a 6-month probationary period as a rule for our permanent positions. Start date is to be agreed upon.
