About the job

Your tasks include working as a case officer with investigations, which involves making decisions in various population registration matters. In your daily work, you meet people from different backgrounds and request additional information via phone, mail, personal visits, and digital mailboxes in your contact with individuals and other authorities. You may also work with control visits, which means visiting individuals and properties as part of ongoing investigations. Since we handle a lot of information in our processing, you need to be able to absorb and sort information, while we have a varied workday where we need to actively work with priorities and structure.

The content, breadth, and complexity of the work are determined by the needs of the organization, and you need to be flexible. You drive your cases independently and actively work to choose effective solutions. We work in teams, and you have close collaboration with your colleagues in your team. We work with continuous improvements in our daily work and would like you to have an interest in developing the work. We have flexible working hours, and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.

You belong to the population registration unit 4 in the Tax and Property Department, located in Jönköping.

About you

In this job, you should:

You should also have:

• a completed university education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in areas such as law, social sciences, behavioral sciences, or another relevant field for the job
• current and relevant experience in meeting people via phone, email, or direct customer contact
• a valid driver's license (B).

It is desirable if you have current and relevant work experience in the public sector or another results-oriented organization. It is also desirable that you have current and relevant work experience from the Swedish Tax Agency.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
