Your new job
As a leadership developer with us, you will play a central role in strengthening and developing leadership within the social services.
You will work closely with the unit managers of the department and provide qualified, professional support in matters related to change management, organizational development, and sustainable leadership.
The assignment is varied and includes both individual management support and group work, as well as planning and implementing development initiatives related to change management.
The social services are an organization in constant development, and your main task is to support managers in change processes that make a real difference – for the citizens we serve, employees, and partners.
As a leadership developer, you will also be responsible for planning and implementing other leadership development initiatives. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to the social services' leadership introduction for managers, lead peer supervision groups, and participate in designing competence-enhancing activities based on needs identified in the management groups. Leadership in the social services should be characterized by a health-promoting, sustainable, and innovative approach, where trust, knowledge, and learning are fundamental – with the goal of creating long-term value for both citizens and the organization.
Your qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience in both strategic and operational change work within the public sector. It is an advantage if you also have managerial experience. Furthermore, you should have a completed and approved university degree of at least 180 credits (bachelor's degree) in fields such as social work, behavioral science, health and medical education, or another approved and completed university degree of at least 180 credits that the employer deems equivalent.
As a leadership developer, you need to be curious, unpretentious, and results-oriented. You should also be communicative, stable, goal-oriented, and have a well-developed ability for various types of problem-solving. You inspire and encourage participation, creativity, and continuous improvement by seeking new ideas while also leveraging the knowledge and learning present in the organization.
We offer you
You will be offered a permanent position as a unit manager in the social services. During the project period, as a leadership developer for three years, you will be part of the social services' development unit. Your closest colleagues are the research leader, management and leadership strategist, leadership developer, and two development leaders.
The development unit works to stimulate learning in the organization in various ways and has overall responsibility for linking research to the department. We are also tasked with assisting functions in improving managers' organizational conditions. In close collaboration with management, the four functional leaderships, and the common staff, we also work on activities to secure the future competence supply of the functions.

The recruitment concerns a full-time position as a unit manager with a start date according to agreement. The position as a leadership developer is a project employment for 3 years. A probationary period may apply.
