Description
As an employee of Gislaved Municipality, you are a co-creator in your workplace.
You are given the opportunity and are expected to contribute to the development of the organization through your knowledge and experience. Here, respect for differences and the equal value of all people is fundamental.
We are now looking for someone who wants to make a real difference, become part of our dedicated and wonderful HR team, and join us on an exciting development journey where we together strengthen the operational HR work.
Who are we?
In our HR unit, there are currently 6 HR partners, 2 HR strategists, and 1 project manager, all with the same goal: to provide our approximately 130 managers with the best possible conditions to lead and support our 3000 employees – who in turn make a difference for everyone living, working, and visiting Gislaved Municipality.
We are part of a larger HR department with around 35 colleagues across four units: the HR unit, staffing unit, payroll unit, and municipal health services. Here, we work closely together, help each other across boundaries, and continuously develop our working methods. For us, humility, team spirit, and value-creating relationships are central success factors.
Job Responsibilities
With us, you will have the opportunity to make a difference and further develop the work with operational HR. This is done by being an HR partner to one of our departments where you support managers with all conceivable employer-related issues.
This includes, among other things:
- working operationally close to the organization and participating in the management groups of the department
- contributing a strategic employer perspective in both daily and long-term issues within the organization
- supporting managers in recruitment, rehabilitation cases, individual cases, and negotiations
- contributing to collaboration processes and conducting training
- being a reliable and solution-oriented advisor in an environment where much is happening
As far as the organization allows and with the manager's consent, there is an opportunity for remote work to some extent.
As an HR partner, you will have close collaboration with your colleagues within the department while being expected to take significant personal responsibility for your tasks.
We are looking for someone who:
- is good at creating structure and thrives when the pace and number of tasks vary
- enjoys working independently and taking responsibility for your tasks
- is relationship-building, enjoys collaborating, and values good communication
- is pragmatic, unpretentious, curious, and consultative in your approach
- is flexible, solution-focused, and positive even when the pace of change is high
- likes to work independently but also values close teamwork
Qualifications
You who are applying should:
- At the time of application, have a completed and approved bachelor's degree in the field of human resources.
It is advantageous to have:
- Experience in broad HR work, preferably within public administration.
Your employee role is closely linked to your ability to collaborate and participate in your and the organization's development. For us, this means having a good collaboration with managers and colleagues, both in your own workplace and in the rest of the municipal group. You meet everyone with a high level of service, kindness, and quality through customer and service focus. You take responsibility for being involved in organizational issues and are solution-oriented.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that your view of employee roles aligns with ours.
We apply background checks (extract from the criminal record) as a form of suitability assessment for all who are offered employment in positions where there is direct and regular contact with children and youth.
Do you want to be part of our success? Welcome with your application!
The first interviews are expected to take place in week 15.
In Gislaved Municipality, full-time is a right, and therefore, vacant positions* are advertised as full-time. When the organization can accommodate part-time, it is of course an option. *Positions shorter than 3 months and certain positions may be exempted. In preparation for the recruitment process, Gislaved Municipality has made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore kindly ask for no contact with media sellers, recruitment sites, and similar.
