Assignment Description

A major Nordic bank is looking for a senior Java developer for a temporary consulting assignment. The assignment includes the development and management of APIs within Open Banking.

The APIs are used in regulatory areas related to payment services, which involves both further development of existing solutions and new development based on upcoming requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

Experience in backend development in Java within larger organizations
Experience with internal frameworks/platforms for system development
Good knowledge of Java (version 11 or newer)
Strong knowledge of REST API development and API documentation (e.g., OpenAPI)
Experience with unit testing and test automation (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., TeamCity or similar)
Experience with JSON and HTTP protocols

Desirable Requirements

Experience with agile methodologies
Experience in Open Banking / payment service regulations
Experience with SCA solutions (e.g., e-identification)
Experience with integration to third-party APIs
