Your responsibilities

Together, our employees work to motivate and guide individuals towards increased activity, participation, and independence. The clients have varying care needs based on different intellectual disabilities. It is important to create predictability in everyday life through structure and clarity, and adapted communication, to create good conditions for a good life. You will assist with daily routines such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry. You will also support during toilet visits, showers, and medication distribution. Expect a workplace filled with laughter, interesting stories, and new friends.

Your qualifications

You have experience working in care and support and feel confident in providing assistance based on each individual's needs and circumstances. Previous experience within LSS and/or SoL is an advantage. Your educational background includes a complete high school education in a relevant field. Further training in motivational interviewing, independent living, and low-arousal approaches is considered a significant plus. You should have good knowledge of Swedish and the ability to document your work clearly. Experience in case management and documentation is an advantage.

As a person, you are self-sufficient, stable, and able to quickly adapt and shift focus as needed. You have good communication skills and can adjust your approach and message based on people's different circumstances. Unique to Skultuna Support & Service is that we combine work in housing with daily activities and housing support. With us, you will have a combined role, contributing to security and good continuity in support.

Additional information

Working hours are scheduled with shifts during the day, evening, and weekends.

Ongoing selection may be applied, so please submit your application as soon as possible.

Before you can be employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police's criminal record.

A probationary period of 6 months may be applied.

During the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required under the Aliens Ordinance. All offers of recruitment and advertising assistance are declined.
