JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
At Vega Open Care, three therapists work with support and treatment interventions in the areas of harmful use and dependence, domestic violence, and support for relatives for municipal residents aged 18 and over. The work is carried out through individual conversations and group activities. We work with motivational interviewing and manual-based methods such as Relapse Prevention and CRA. Our assignments come both as needs-assessed interventions from caseworkers and as interventions without needs assessment. Collaboration, follow-up, and documentation are a natural part of the work. A certain part of the work also focuses on preventive and outreach activities as we, to some extent, move around the center and also have open reception where we serve breakfast to our clients.
Our tasks are varied, and we have a flexible working method to meet the needs of individuals and the organization in the best way. Vega Open Care places great importance on being a reception characterized by openness and being welcoming to all our clients. We meet everyone with a non-judgmental approach and strive to provide services that are equitable and equal.
As a therapist at Vega Open Care, you enjoy working independently but in close collaboration with your colleagues. You like to plan and carry out your work independently and take responsibility for documentation, follow-up, implementation plans, and treatment conclusions. You have a good understanding of the treatment process and change work, as well as insight into the social services' case flow, and are responsible for ensuring that the intervention is carried out in accordance with the assignment. You collaborate with colleagues in other parts of IFO and also with external partners based on the client's needs.
Some evening work may occur.
QUALIFICATIONS

Basic psychotherapy training, such as step 1, and further training in treatment methods such as MI/MET, CRA, Relapse Prevention, CRAFT, Conversations about Violence, and Conversations about Freedom are meritorious.
You have experience in social work and an understanding that different people require different approaches, and can adapt your way of conveying your message according to the individual's needs. You are calm and stable; in stressful situations, you keep your focus on the right things, and even though there may be setbacks in the work, you have the ability to remain motivated and find solutions. As a person, you are flexible, with a good ability in structure and planning. You have a very good ability to collaborate and are good at building relationships, and believe in the individual's ability to change.
Documentation and communication are a significant part of our work, and therefore you need to express yourself well in speech and writing in the Swedish language. You must also have knowledge and familiarity with applicable legislation.
