About the job
As a product owner, you lead and prioritize the team's work based on the needs and goals of the organization. You translate strategies into concrete activities, coordinate with other teams and stakeholders, and ensure that deliveries create real value for both users and the organization.
We work agilely with a SAFe-inspired approach, and you collaborate closely with other teams, architects, suppliers, and other key persons to drive development forward. You will lead the team in close collaboration with the team's Scrum Master.
The daily work will be characterized by a lot of change work. You help the team, as well as the surrounding organization, to move forward together in an open and goal-oriented manner.
Recurring tasks:
- Drive and prioritize the team's backlog based on the agency's strategies and goals in a manageable way.
- Participate in relevant internal and external networks, including product management and architecture forums.
- Manage dialogue with customers/stakeholders to gather, understand needs, and handle initiatives in the area.
- Be responsible for planning and roadmap based on different time horizons.
- Ensure operational processes for the area that the team is responsible for executing.
- Network and gather needs from the business and define the needs in Features with clear boundaries.
- Communicate status, plans, and changes to relevant parties clearly.
- Ensure and approve the team's delivery of value based on set delivery criteria.
- Follow up on the value and effect of the delivery and act on the results.
- Handle necessary administration and documentation and ensure compliance with the agency's guidelines and instructions for the area.
- Assist the train management in summarizing the budget for the team's work and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the Scrum Master to reach and ensure that everyone understands the team's common goals.
Your profile
You are an experienced leader who can read people and situations. We need a communicative and collaborative leader who creates engagement and builds trust. At the same time, you are analytical and have the ability to navigate in a complex organization.
Since the team is technically specialized in the infrastructure platform, we prefer that you have good technical understanding and can engage with both technical and business-related issues, preferably within large organizations with complex system connections.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Good experience in the PO role and has worked within a larger agile organization.
- Is a people person who can collaborate very well and fits into our open culture.
- Good knowledge of technical environments and processes, preferably within infrastructure.
- Can make tough prioritizations but with a sense of change management.
- Very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
Meritorious is also:
- Experience of working with complex system connections/large-scale environments.
- Experience of working with the SAFe framework.
- Experience of LOU (the Public Procurement Act).
- Background from government or public operations.
- Previous experience from working at the Swedish Pensions Agency.

Good to know
The position is a permanent full-time employment, and we apply a 6-month probationary period.
