SVA Teacher for Grades 4-6 (6-month temporary position, 100%)

International English School (IES) Lund is a school for grades 4-9 with approximately 700 students and 80 staff members. IES Lund is a school where teachers can focus on teaching, students are given the opportunity to learn, and everyone enjoys coming to school every day. The school has an international focus and teaching is conducted in both English and Swedish. The school prioritizes learning and knowledge. Students learn to take personal responsibility for their own development and work environment and to respect their classmates, teachers, and themselves.

We are now primarily looking for a certified SVA teacher for teaching in grades 4-6.

The position includes shared mentorship. You have a positive view of people and the ability to create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. As a teacher with us, you find it enjoyable, stimulating, and rewarding to teach students from various countries and provide each student with the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions and abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct lessons
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate documentation
• Mentorship for students in one of the classes you teach
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the school's community

Who are you?

• You have a teaching degree with qualifications and certification to teach SVA grades 4-6.
• Experience working in a school is an advantage.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet students' diverse needs.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
