Fixa Assistans is a family-oriented assistance company with extensive experience in personal assistance for both children and adults. Our head office is located in Karlshamn, and we operate in southern Sweden. Care for every individual is an obvious part of our work. Therefore, we place great importance on matching users and assistants based on both competence, experience, and personal chemistry. Our goal is to create long-term relationships and a work environment where everyone thrives and feels seen.

We are now looking for engaged substitute workers who can step in and work with us when regular assistants are sick, have sick children, or are simply on leave. You can be a substitute for both children and adults, working during the day, evenings/nights, and weekends. You will often be called in at short notice, but there may also be planned shifts or longer sick leave substitutes. If you are studying, this is the perfect part-time job for you. You can always adjust your schedule if, for example, you can only work evenings and weekends due to studies.

Primarily, we are looking for someone with some form of education related to disabilities or ongoing education and/or experience in the field of disabilities. If you have previous experience in personal assistance, that is a plus. We also place great importance on personal chemistry and personal qualities, so do not hesitate to apply even if you do not have the aforementioned education or experience. You must not have any physical problems as the work of a personal assistant often involves assistance with transfers, although there are always aids available.

As a person, you must be responsible, attentive, flexible, have good patience, and be able to take initiative and adapt your work to the user's needs. You must have a good ability to read needs and wishes even if they are not always expressed verbally. The pace of work is often mixed. In some workplaces, it is a must to have a driver's license and access to a car. You should be completely smoke-free.

The nature of the work requires that you are fluent in speaking and understanding the Swedish language, for example, being able to understand and read various instructions and checklists as well as document in writing.
