Fixa Assistans is a family-oriented assistance company with extensive experience in personal assistance for both children and adults. Our head office is located in Karlshamn, and we operate in southern Sweden. We are now looking for a personal assistant for a 14-year-old boy living west of Ronneby. The position is 75% and involves varying working hours (afternoons and evenings, including weekends), with some hours requiring double staffing.

We place great emphasis on personal chemistry and personal qualities. You must not be allergic to animals. The boy has Down syndrome, autism, ADHD, epilepsy, and type 1 diabetes. Communication occurs through an iPad and sign language support. You must get to know the boy well to understand him. He is fed manually via a feeding tube. All training will be conducted through an introduction with experienced assistants.

To reach the workplace, access to a personal car is required as public transportation is not available.

As a person, you must be responsible, attentive, flexible, have good patience, and be able to take initiative and adapt your work to the user's needs. You must have a good ability to read needs and wishes even if they are not expressed verbally.

The nature of the work requires you to be fluent in speaking and understanding the Swedish language, for example, being able to understand and read various instructions and checklists, follow established routines, document, and communicate via the iPad.

To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
