Östra närvården includes Region Blekinge's health centers, youth clinics, wound centers, and rehabilitation centers.

Trossö health center is a pleasant and appreciated clinic located in central Karlskrona. At the health center, we have over 30 employees from various professions working together to meet the needs of our 7,700 registered patients. The goal of primary care is to be a modern outpatient service where patients' needs and teamwork are at the center.

The workgroup is interdisciplinary and consists of social workers, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and secretaries who, when needed, work in teams around patients with complex care needs. The unit is well-functioning and staffed with many experienced and competent employees who are passionate about developing care.

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop primary care's work with mental health at the health center. As a team member, you will have a varied job with workdays filled with laughter and joy alongside wonderful colleagues!

About the Job

As a social worker/behavioral scientist in primary care, you will meet patients aged 18 and older with varying issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, and crises. The tasks mainly consist of independent patient work with individual assessments and conversation treatments, sometimes complemented by group activities and teamwork.

At Trossö health center, there are 2 social workers, and you will also be part of a group of therapists from other health centers. Together, you have regular networking meetings and supervision, as well as close collaboration. Other tasks include telephone counseling, group therapy in mental health, and stress management.

Our business idea is based on good accessibility and patient satisfaction, as well as looking at the entire patient's health condition and life situation from a holistic perspective. The work requires independence and good initiative and collaboration skills.

About You

For this position, you are required to have:

• a degree in social work or equivalent that the employer deems suitable for the position
• several years of current experience in conversation treatment/therapy

It is advantageous if you also have:

• therapeutic education, step 1

Applicants who are considered for employment must present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record before employment. Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in crisis management. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security assessment interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
