With us at the Social Welfare Unit, you will be part of an engaged and competent team consisting of a unit manager, team leaders, and 13 social workers. The unit is divided into two closely collaborating groups – the economic group and the planning group. Our mission is to make decisions about financial assistance and to support people on their way to self-sufficiency through work or studies. It is important for us to meet people with respect, professionalism, and.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a summer substitute for the economic group who wants to contribute to our operations during the summer.

In this role, you will:

  • investigate and assess the right to financial assistance
  • make decisions according to the Social Services Act
  • work with qualified investigations where legal security and quality are in focus
  • collaborate with planning officers and other professionals, both internally and externally

We know that a good start is crucial, which is why you will receive a structured introduction and support from experienced colleagues and team leaders. You will be part of a team that is happy to share their knowledge and help each other move forward.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • has ongoing or completed social work education, or another equivalent higher education
  • has a good ability to express themselves well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
  • is structured, meticulous, and responsible
  • has a respectful and service-oriented approach
  • it is advantageous if you have ongoing or completed internship within the social work program.

As a person, you enjoy working independently and in a structured manner. You appreciate collaboration and have an interest and good ability for administrative work. We place great importance on your personal qualities and your commitment.
