The Role of Educator

The overarching purpose and goal of the position is that our participants, with the help of individually tailored pedagogical support (IPSU), can become independent and complete their educational efforts with satisfactory results.

We are looking for an educator for a part-time position in Olofström. Currently, you will work part-time, around 50%, but there may be opportunities for increased hours.

As an educator, you will support individual participants who have a functional variation and are undergoing training through the Employment Agency. Support is provided in the specific areas where the participant needs assistance, that is, through pedagogical interventions and work with assistive devices. Based on the needs in the educational situation, IPSU is tailored with the right competence, pedagogical interventions, and assistive devices for each participant. You will work with participants at the training locations. Travel to various training sites is required. A driver's license is a must.

You will be part of a team with other educators in the nearby area as well as specialists and coordinators. To thrive in the role, you should feel comfortable working independently with participants, be solution-focused and flexible. Communication, feedback, and building good relationships with participants, colleagues, clients, and others come naturally to you.

Eligibility Requirements

Work Experience

• Documented experience working with individuals with functional variations in an educational situation for at least 1 year.
• Documented experience working with cognitive assistive devices in an educational situation for at least 1 year.

Work experience must be certified with documentation from previous employers.

Educational Requirements

Relevant education in pedagogy and/or working with individuals with functional variations. Proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
