In the role of Senior Requirements Manager, you will work on technically complex projects where the requirements, acceptance, and how the requirements will be followed up need to be established early. You will work closely with the customer at an overarching system level and serve as a cohesive link between technical project management, system architecture, verification, and other specialists.

The role often involves stepping in during the bidding phase (RFQ) and driving the work to make the customer's requirements clear, realistic, and feasible from the start. You will structure large amounts of requirements, ensure traceability, and make sure that interfaces between systems and responsibilities among parties are sufficiently clear for the project to be driven effectively. You will identify conflicting requirements and contribute to defining expectations, acceptance criteria, and follow-up early, before the project enters execution.

Examples of Responsibilities

• Drive dialogue with the customer regarding requirements, expectations, and acceptance,

• Interpret, structure, and formulate requirements at an overarching system level

• Ensure that requirements are verifiable and possible to follow throughout the project via traceability

• Identify conflicting requirements and initiate technical trade-offs

• Define acceptance arrangements early and ensure that requirements are linked to acceptance criteria

• Manage requirements related to ILS, safety, and non-functional requirements as well as relevant regulations

• Lead and facilitate workshops with customers and external parties

• Support technical project managers and contribute to collaboration with system architecture and verification functions

We are looking for someone who thrives in a customer-facing and coordinating role where structure, traceability, and clear communication make a difference. You work methodically, keep the whole together, and have the ability to translate complex needs into requirements that can be followed up and approved. You collaborate effectively in environments with many stakeholders and can drive dialogues where both technical trade-offs and expectations need to be settled early.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in requirements management

• Understanding of processes and structure in requirements work

• Ability to drive dialogue with customers and various technical functions

• Ability to work at the system level and lift the perspective from details

• Experience with requirements management tools

• Familiarity with working in technical projects with large and complex requirements

• Good English skills in both spoken and written form

Experience from military operations or defense-related contexts as well as work in DOORS is meritorious. As a person, you are structured, curious, and clear in your communication, with a good ability to sort information and drive decisions when the requirements landscape is extensive.
