Deromeskolan is a smaller school with about 120 students located in the community of Derome, 15 km north of Varberg. The school has an after-school program integrated into its facilities.

In the after-school program, students are divided into groups by age. At Deromeskolan, students attend grades F-3, and when they start grade 4, they move to Vidhögeskolan in Veddige.

At Deromeskolan, the activities are designed so that students have a real influence on methods, working forms, and the content of teaching. Deromeskolan actively works for an inclusive school and a systematic approach against bullying, harassment, and degrading treatment, as well as for a good working environment.

Outdoor life is central at Deromeskolan, especially for the younger ages. In the fantastic outdoor environment surrounding the school, outdoor activities are conducted year-round.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a teaching assistant who will primarily work with one student. You will, together with other colleagues in the work team, be present throughout the student's entire school day, both at school and in the after-school program.

The job involves supporting and guiding a student in need of special support with neuropsychiatric disabilities to achieve set goals and assist in everyday situations that may otherwise be difficult to manage. You should use a clear pedagogical approach and a low-arousal response. Personal suitability will be highly valued.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a teaching assistant with experience and knowledge of working with TAKK and visual support. You should be able to take personal responsibility for implementing teaching based on planning. Personal suitability is of great importance.
