Your Responsibilities 

We are now looking for a vocational teacher for our programs in Child & Leisure. The position is located at our school in Kungsbacka. The role involves working with flexible and distance education as well as the development of these study forms. Furthermore, the position may involve some work with our language support programs, i.e., programs that combine vocational courses with the Swedish language. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching. You will work, together with other teachers, on lesson planning, assessment, and grading as well as guidance.

We offer education in adult education, higher vocational education, and in the area of skills development for Care & Welfare personnel. Additionally, we work with digital skills training for employees in public services such as home care, elderly care, rehabilitation, and home healthcare.

Our school is located in central Kungsbacka within walking distance to train and bus connections.

Your Profile 

Licensed and qualified vocational teacher in Child & Leisure or ongoing education to become a vocational teacher in Child & Leisure. 

Experience in adult education is an advantage but not a requirement.

Experience in teaching in the Child & Leisure program is an advantage but not a requirement.

The Employment

The position is a fixed-term employment during the period 260504 – 260828. It may possibly be extended.

Working percentage 40%.

Working hours are during the day. Evening work may occur on rare occasions. We apply the collective agreement between Almega service companies and Sweden's teachers.
