Vesterhavsskolan is a primary school in Falkenberg with approximately 630 students in grades F-9.

Vesterhavsskolan is looking for a qualified and licensed special education teacher. Alternatively, an experienced Swedish teacher with special education responsibilities. You should be an engaging leader who has expectations for your students, as well as a colleague who is interested in being involved in creating a really good education and school. Where planning, implementation, and assessment/evaluation are our core elements.

We want the pedagogical quality work to be based on the learning process, i.e., the education itself.

We believe that all students can and want to learn and that the path to knowledge largely goes through the classroom. We also believe that the teacher is the most important factor for the student to succeed in schoolwork.

You will be part of the school's overall student health team. Your tasks will be both remedial as well as promotional and preventive. The position is aimed at the middle school level with a focus on writing and reading development work. We see that you have a genuine commitment and interest in student-centered work regarding students in need of special support. You will work in parallel with special educators and other professionals within student health as well as educators.

We are looking for staff to start immediately or by agreement. The position is 80%.
