Skottorpsskolan

Skottorpsskolan is a F-6 school with 270 students complemented by an after-school program. Skottorpsskolan works based on the vision "Valuable Together" where we consciously work to strengthen students' safety in various contexts. We strive for all students to experience teaching as meaningful where participation and influence are central. We have a varied working method based on students' interests and conditions. A success factor in teaching is the teachers' relational leadership where we base our work on students' needs and conditions in teaching. We have a close collaboration with Halmstad University as we are a training school, which means that we regularly host students.

About the Position

Your main tasks are to plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on students' interests, needs, and participation. This takes place within the framework of the after-school program together with colleagues. We have several after-school program departments and are primarily looking for staff for our younger students. As our after-school program is increasing in the number of students in the fall, we need more employees!

The position is 75-100% depending on your education, qualifications, and competencies.

In our municipality, we value the after-school program's activities and drive a municipality-wide development work for all after-school programs in the municipality aimed at a common and deepened understanding of the mission and as equitable education as possible for our students.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher in after-school programs, leisure educator, preschool teacher/teacher with qualifications for after-school programs, or equivalent higher education that the employer finds suitable. If you have qualifications to teach sports, art, home economics, or any other school subjects or other competencies that are considered enriching for our operations, it can be a merit.

You are passionate about the after-school program's activities and you meet students, guardians, and colleagues with competence and warmth. You have a strong drive and commitment and find it easy to create good relationships. You have clear leadership and a genuine interest in learning and development.

We also welcome applications from trained preschool teachers who want to work in the after-school program with our younger students.

Experience in the profession is meritorious but not a requirement!
