Your Role

You will support our students in their subject studies, both generally and with a particular focus on students with reading and writing difficulties. Your role includes conducting reading and writing assessments and translating the results into effective strategies in teaching.

You will work in a team alongside special teachers and special educators, in close collaboration with subject teachers, to create accessible learning environments for all students. You will be part of a well-organized work team with special pedagogical competence where we share experiences and support each other, in a workplace characterized by Sturegymnasiet's unique energy and creativity. We actively work to balance time for teaching, assessment, and guidance to ensure a good working environment.

Your Experience

• Requirement: Certified special teacher with a focus on reading and writing difficulties.
• Requirement: Teacher certification with qualifications in Swedish and English (at least at the primary school level).
• Desirable: Certification as a subject teacher for upper secondary school.
• Desirable: Experience with reading and writing assessments at the middle or high school level.

You do this by proving your citizenship in the EU/EES or Switzerland through a passport, national ID card, or personal certificate along with an identification document. If you cannot do this, you need to present a work permit or show that you are exempt from the requirement for a work permit.
