Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a wood and metal craft teacher for Östergårdsskolan, grades 4-9.

As a wood and metal craft teacher, you will guide, challenge, and support students to use their creativity in the subject. Your work includes planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching.

The tasks vary, providing a diverse and challenging job, while also requiring both competence and personal qualities from you.

Your Qualifications

Teaching certification with authorization to teach wood/metal craft in grades 4-9.

Östergårdsskolan is a primary school with grades 4-9 and an associated after-school program. The school has about 650 students and is located in central Halmstad with easy access to facilities such as Halmstad Arena. At Östergårdsskolan, we work closely in teams, with great commitment to developing our students towards their goals.

Östergårdsskolan and its students and staff moved into new, fine premises in the autumn term of 2024. For several years, we have worked to challenge structures on how the school is organized and how we can work differently to provide our students with the best possible conditions. We are proud of the work being done while continuously striving to develop ourselves every day. As the number of students increases before the autumn term of 2026, we are now looking for someone who wants to be a part of our school!
