Currently, 33 students are enrolled in grades 1-9, including an adapted high school program and after-school care. We educate students to promote independence and create conditions for development and learning that prepare them for an independent life in the future. It is important to us that students succeed in school and develop based on their unique abilities. To provide students with the help they need, we maintain a high staff density. Together, we have extensive experience and the desire to create the best school for our students. It is crucial for us that all students feel safe, joyful, and responsible. About the Position

Do you want an important and fun assignment? Come to us and create joy in learning for our students! Your role as a special education teacher in our 7-9 class involves providing individual instruction as well as group instruction to students studying both subjects and subject areas. The teaching is adapted based on the students' learning and individual needs, and we start from the premise that each student needs ample time for their learning. You will work with clear pedagogy and adapt teaching and your pedagogical methods according to the students' abilities. You should lay the foundation for the best possible development and aim for the student to achieve their goals. This means that you plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching in a professional manner based on the school's governing documents. As support in your teaching, you will collaborate with the teaching assistants in the class.

You will belong to a work team where we see you as an important part of a whole that works to ensure that all students achieve their goals. You actively participate in the school's development work and maintain good collaboration with colleagues.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for someone who is a licensed special education teacher with a focus on IF with experience in adapted primary school and is a primary school teacher at the base. You have taught students who follow subjects as well as subject areas, and you have the competence to work with students with multiple diagnoses, such as autism. You focus on the students and take responsibility for the entire assignment with great commitment, independence, and patience. Furthermore, you are structured and flexible and can adapt your approach based on the student's needs. Of course, you are also a good leader in the classroom. You have good experience with supportive structures, and knowledge of TAKK is an advantage.

For the position, you need to be low-arousal and have a respectful approach, as well as the ability to create good relationships with both students and guardians. You also have a willingness and a well-developed ability to collaborate with colleagues in various contexts. You are solution-oriented and have the ability to identify and take the initiative to create opportunities for change and development.
