Your Responsibilities

You will contribute to providing students at Slottsjord School Skepparen with a meaningful leisure activity based on the concepts of care, development, and joyful learning.

The teaching in the leisure center should develop students' ability to learn together through various working methods. You will be part of a team working in the school's leisure center and collaborate and plan the activities together with your colleagues. You should be willing to help develop our operations based on the management's goals, Slottsjord School Skepparen's development plan, and overarching governing documents. There is time for both individual and joint planning, collegial development time, as well as for documentation, follow-up, and analysis within your work hours at the school.

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to developing the school's leisure center by:

• Planning and organizing a challenging and creative teaching that is based on the curriculum's goals, the interests and needs of the student group. Strengthening students' social relationships and interactions.
• Developing and stimulating students' mathematical, linguistic, and communicative abilities.
• Working with student influence and participation.
• Documenting and systematically following up on the teaching in the leisure center and students' development towards set goals.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher in leisure centers. We expect you to have a good approach towards students, parents, and colleagues. For us, problem-solving ability, collaboration skills, and relational competence are important.

You work calmly and systematically with a low-affect approach. You have a positive and inclusive attitude towards students, colleagues, and guardians.

Slottsjord Skepparen is a primary school in the central part of Halmstad with students in preschool class and grades 1-3. The school currently has about 230 students distributed across three departments with corresponding age-mixed leisure centers. Skepparen has a central location with a fantastic outdoor environment. Proximity to nature, beach, and forest contributes to a creative and joyful learning environment.
