About Berglunda

Berglunda is a residential care home that welcomes individuals aged 20 and over with mental disabilities, even in combination with substance abuse. At Berglunda, we work towards long-term goals focusing on strengthening the healthy aspects of life on behalf of municipalities and the Swedish Prison and Probation Service. The evidence-based treatment methods we currently use include Relapse Prevention, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and ESL (An Independent Life).

About the role In the role of treatment educator, you will work in a team with several other professionals, and your tasks will include providing support and treatment to clients in psychiatric rehabilitation as well as in daily activities. You will plan and implement treatment interventions and document these in the action plan, report treatment outcomes in reports to the commissioning authority, and continuously document treatment outcomes in journals. You will also receive delegation to handle and distribute medication. Experience in this area is an advantage.

As Berglunda's treatment offerings are strengthened, you will also have the opportunity to participate in and influence the continued development of the organization, which is of great importance to you. Having an interest in acquiring new knowledge and methods and applying them in your work with clients is essential for your enjoyment in the role.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, and two weekends out of five.

Your experience and knowledge

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker, behavioral scientist, or has another qualification that the employer deems equivalent, alternatively a degree from a 2-year vocational training program as a social educator or treatment educator. It is advantageous if you are trained in MI, Relapse Prevention, An Independent Life (ESL), ASI, or CRA and have a background in psychiatric care or treatment of harmful use or addiction. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience in documentation.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and take responsibility. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our clients' best interests at the forefront of everything you do.
