Group Home Regeringsgatan is located in Gislaved. The facility is intended for individuals with disabilities and care needs. The residents of the group home have decisions made under the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS).

This advertisement is for a temporary position (substitute) with working hours scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Together with other colleagues, you will work to make the daily lives of the residents meaningful, clear, and fulfilling. You will support and guide the residents in personal care, meals, medication management, household maintenance, social contacts, and communication.

An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate residents to maintain or develop their abilities, and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time so they can live like others based on their conditions. Adapt the environment according to the residents' needs and conditions. The work is based on individual implementation plans.

Responsibilities also include IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health and medical tasks.

Tools used in the work include: PFA (Pedagogical Approach and Working Method), communication aids, picture support, and more.

Qualifications

• Support Pedagogue: Education as a Support Pedagogue with a focus on the disability sector.
• Support Assistant: Education in the Care and Welfare program with a focus on psychiatry or the disability sector, or the Child and Leisure program with a focus on social or pedagogical work.
• Alternatively: Behavioral scientist, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

Experience with the target group is required for the position. You must be able to swim and not have a chlorine allergy. A B-class driver's license is also a requirement.

Your role as an employee is deeply linked to your ability to collaborate and participate in the development of yourself and the organization.
