The Hospitals in the West is an administration within the Västra Götaland Region and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. The Medicine Department at Alingsås Hospital is looking for a medical secretary for a summer temporary position!

Description

For us, good collaboration is important as we work in teams consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, secretaries, and others around the patient.

In the role of medical secretary with us, you will have the opportunity to develop in a workgroup characterized by an open climate, great commitment, and where quality is important. We have new, fresh facilities and can offer a good working environment.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, structured, contributes to a positive work climate, and is proud of the medical secretary's competence. We would like you to have an interest in diagnosis classification.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities consist of regular tasks as a medical secretary and vary based on placement. A selection includes:

• Documentation in Melior
• Diagnosis classification in Melior and registration of diagnosis and procedure codes in ELVIS
• Referral management
• Patient booking
• Mail handling
• Preparation for scanning

Qualifications

Two-year YH education or equivalent as a medical secretary

Good computer skills

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

Meritorious

Experience with Melior and ELVIS

Training in disease classification

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Working Hours

Working hours are scheduled for daytime, Monday to Friday.

Other

Interviews are conducted continuously during the recruitment process.
