About the Position

Surgery and Orthopedics at Alingsås Hospital is looking for a medical secretary for a summer temporary position!

In your role as a medical secretary, you will have the opportunity to work as a department secretary in our care departments and will be offered varied tasks.

Description

Your tasks include medical documentation in Melior, preparations for elective care, ward rounds, printing letters, certificates, referrals, and other correspondence, diagnosis and procedure registration in ELVIS, as well as many other stimulating administrative tasks.

We are looking for someone who is cheerful and positive. You find it easy to collaborate with both colleagues and healthcare personnel, but you also have no problem working independently. You enjoy taking responsibility and are flexible. We place great emphasis on accuracy, good service, and a sense of responsibility. You have good social skills. You should enjoy working in an environment with varied tasks and sometimes at a fast pace.

Qualifications

To work with us, you should:

• have training in healthcare documentation as a medical secretary
• be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Experience with the medical record system Melior and MedSpeech, as well as the patient administrative system ELVIS, is an advantage.
