The Social Psychiatry unit is now looking for a new employee for a permanent position.

The group consists of 12 caseworkers and is led by a unit manager. On the unit, MI is part of the daily work, and we strive to develop a knowledge-based case management process. As an employee at the Södermalm district administration, you adhere to our core values, which mean that you are engaged, professional, and innovative. We are located at Virkesvägen 3 in Hammarby Sjöstad, and all employees in the adult unit work in an open office landscape.

We offer

The Södermalm district administration has winter and summer working hours and a flexible working agreement. Since 2025, the wellness allowance is 3000 SEK per year.

Your role

As a caseworker, you have the opportunity to work with the individual at the center. The work as a caseworker is very significant and multifaceted, as you will work in dialogue with the client to find the best solution for the individual in question.

In the role of caseworker, your tasks may include consulting, updating cases, gathering information, making assessments, making decisions, and following up on interventions. Your work is based on the legislation and knowledge support available, and you work from an evidence-based practice, meaning you use the three sources of knowledge: the users' perspective, theoretical knowledge, and proven experience.

In your work, you will collaborate with both colleagues in the city and external partners. We are looking for someone who thrives in a varied job in a changing environment where no two days are alike. Your qualifications and experience

You have a degree in social work or another higher education that is deemed equivalent by the employer.
