Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, and social psychiatry, individual and family care.

About the workplaces in Löderup:

Welcome to Löderupsgården – the residence with everything for our elderly; a special accommodation focusing on somatic care and dementia, respite care, and short-term places. In the building, we also collaborate with other operations such as the Seniors' House and our cozy restaurant, which is open to the public. Löderupsgården is located in beautiful surroundings, about 20 kilometers outside Ystad in the lush Österlen, where we work to ensure that our elderly feel comfortable in a homely environment, where joy and laughter are a natural part of everyday life.

Löderup's home care is a safe and close operation that is based on Fabriksgatan in Löderup, directly adjacent to Löderupsgården. With the same warmth, commitment, and care that characterizes the residence, we work to create safety and quality of life in our clients' own homes. In beautiful surroundings in Österlen, you will drive between assignments and meet people in the eastern parts of Ystad municipality. With us, the individual’s needs, participation, and well-being are at the center, and we strive for every meeting to be characterized by respect, joy, and a personal approach.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to make a difference this summer? We are looking for you who want to work as a summer substitute in elderly care or LSS, out in the beautiful Löderup.

With us, you will have a meaningful job where you contribute to the well-being of others while having fun with colleagues and gaining invaluable experience.

As part of our teams, you will work closely with people and support them in their daily lives.

Job responsibilities may include:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Support during meals, cleaning, and other daily tasks
• Social interaction and safe encounters
• Accompanying on care visits, activities, or errands
• Working based on help to self-help to strengthen independence
• Medication management after approved delegation

Support is needed around the clock, which means you can work days, evenings, or nights on both weekdays and weekends.

In home care, you will drive a car.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a warm demeanor and a genuine desire to help others. Experience or education is an advantage, but your attitude and engagement are most important to us.

We place great importance on your personal suitability.

Requirements

• Work in home care, special accommodation, and LSS may involve working alone, situations of threat and violence, heavy lifting, and medication management. According to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations on minors' working environment (AFS 2012:3), §6 and §8, such work is not permitted for minors. Therefore, the person hired must be at least 18 years old by June 30.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• You are capable of physical work with a lot of movement where heavy lifting may occur
• You work according to basic hygiene routines and in short-sleeved shirts
• You can work with both men and women

Meritorious

• Education in care or pedagogy (attach relevant grades/certificates with the application)
• Experience of similar work in elderly care or LSS
• Driving license B
• You can cycle

• For work with children and young people under 18 years, a police record extract is required
