About Nova Psychiatry

Nova Health Group was founded with a vision to revolutionize psychiatry and the treatment of mental health issues. We strive to offer a modern and patient-centered healthcare experience. We aim to provide the best assessment and treatment in Europe for individuals with ADHD, Autism, and other psychiatric issues. Today, we work with our patients under the brands Nova Psychiatry and Karla Psychiatry, with more companies on the way within the group.

Today's psychiatry is characterized by traditional methods and a often slow working pace, where technological advancements and the patient's needs are rarely in focus. Many patients struggle to navigate a complex public system or turn to large healthcare providers where they risk becoming an anonymous number in the crowd. We have chosen to do things differently by putting the patient at the center and offering psychiatric care with five-star service. Our strategy is based on patient experience, quality, and efficiency, where we use modern technology and innovative working methods to constantly improve and develop our operations.

Our dedicated team is at the core of our operations and mainly consists of psychologists, doctors, and nurses. Nova was founded in 2024 and currently has over 50 employees – and we are growing rapidly. We are now looking for more driven individuals who want to help shape the future of psychiatry with us. We focus heavily on hiring Sweden's most talented employees, but also on ensuring that people enjoy working here more than anywhere else.

Nova's vision is to demonstrate how psychiatry can function, for both patients and employees. We believe that it can be done much better. We are driven by the continuous improvement of patient satisfaction, maintaining high quality, and simultaneously increasing efficiency through reduced administration. We believe we achieve all this by having fun together, daring to make mistakes, and striving to be the best at what we do.

About the Role

We are now seeking PTP psychologists for our office in Malmö who want to join us on an exciting growth journey alongside other psychologists. We hope to offer you Sweden's best and most enjoyable PTP position.

Primary responsibilities:

Individual-focused work (at least 50%)

  • Conduct neuropsychiatric assessments of both adults and children, primarily focusing on ADHD and/or Autism.

  • Follow-up treatment and counseling for the same patient group.

Other psychological work (at least 25%)

  • Contribute to method and operational development, where there are many ways to improve processes and operations.

  • Conduct internal and external initiatives by holding training sessions.

  • Conduct group interventions.

  • Develop new treatment programs and concepts.

Some travel is included in the position. Parts of the patient work can be done digitally, but primarily conducted physically together with the patient.

Who We Are Looking For
  • You are social and genuinely enjoy working with people. You quickly create a sense of safety in the room, are clear in your communication, and make patients feel seen and understood. We want Sweden's most satisfied patients, which requires psychologists who are not only clinically skilled but also personal, warm, and professionally relaxed.

  • You have an inner drive and want to perform with both quality and pace. Structure and efficiency are natural parts of your work style, and you appreciate an environment where freedom is linked to responsibility. When you work focused and smart, it shows in what you deliver and how your everyday life looks.

  • You are technically proficient. You handle digital systems effortlessly and see technology as a natural part of a modern work approach.

  • Experience with neuropsychiatric assessments is a plus, but it is your attitude, ambition, and ability to create satisfied patients that ultimately matter.

Why Nova

You get to be part of a fantastic journey where we hopefully can build Europe's largest and best company in mental health, where we truly help our clients.

What We Offer
  • A high degree of freedom and personal responsibility, with as few internal meetings as possible.

  • Flexible working hours. The opportunity to structure your workweeks in a way that suits you.

  • Hybrid: Work part of the time from home if you wish.

  • Support in the role from psychological assistants who help you with much of the administrative work, allowing you to focus as much as possible on working with patients.

  • Be part of influencing and improving the operations if you wish. Improvement ideas are strongly encouraged.

  • Competitive salary and future opportunities for bonuses.

  • Pension plan.

  • Wellness allowance: 5000 SEK per year.

  • User-friendly technology: Nova provides a MacBook to all employees, as well as iPads for all testing. Additionally, you will receive a screen, headphones, and a camera for remote work, as well as new and user-friendly systems to work with.

  • Opportunities for further education both internally and externally.

  • Social activities together such as after-work events, parties, and events with colleagues.

Application Process

Application: Fill in your contact details and upload your CV along with a brief introduction about yourself.

Tests: If your profile matches what we are looking for, the next step will be to complete two psychometric tests that take about 20–30 minutes. The tests are used as a complement in the process to ensure an objective and fair assessment.

Interview: If you proceed in the process, we will invite you to one or more interviews via video, where you will have the opportunity to get to know us and ask questions about the position.
