The hospital in Hässleholm offers a dynamic work environment with wards where admissions primarily occur from our own emergency department. In addition to these wards, we have a comprehensive elective orthopedic operation and a large outpatient clinic with various specialties. Our emergency department is open to adult patients in need of acute care within medical specialties.

The emergency department operates from 08:00 to 20:00 every day of the week. Our weekend clinic is open on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 10:00 to 16:00, serving patients who cannot wait for their regular health center to open.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of nursing assistant, you will work with monitoring and treatment of acutely ill patients, for example during priority 1 alarms. Your tasks include nursing care, sample collection, and wound dressing changes. Together, we create a dynamic and stimulating work environment where flexibility and good cooperation are crucial.

There is also an opportunity to broaden your skills over time by working at the Evening and Weekend Clinic, which is part of our own operations, as well as through collaboration with the hospital's medical emergency department. This takes place based on a tailored introduction aimed at creating security in the role and a good work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current program structure. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required. Additionally, you have work experience in inpatient care, and we would appreciate it if you had several years of work experience in emergency healthcare. If you studied under the previous program structure, it is meritorious if you had a focus on emergency healthcare.
