Who we are!

Within the rehabilitation unit of the Care Administration, 25 occupational therapists and physiotherapists, as well as 6 rehabilitation assistants, work together. The unit is led by two unit managers, and the employees operate from three locations in central Hässleholm and in Tyringe. Our total assignment covers twelve different areas in Hässleholm Municipality. The assignments are divided between ordinary housing, special housing, and LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).

What we offer you!

As an occupational therapist here, you work with assessing activity capacity, treatment, and training. The role also involves prescribing assistive devices and providing guidance to care staff from an occupational therapy perspective. In your daily work, you will have dialogue with various professions within the municipality, as well as with, among others, Region Skåne regarding care planning via "My Plans". The group meets jointly at workplace meetings, and in addition, we have professional meetings where we meet within each professional group to develop ourselves and the operations.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and have strong collaboration and problem-solving skills. As a person, you view life positively and enjoy contributing and working together across professional boundaries. You are solution-focused and have great respect for the individual person and thrive on helping others. You should be able to work in a team while feeling a great responsibility for your own contribution and for our patients. Experience in similar work is meritorious. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills, are required.

About us

Within the Care Administration, we provide care, support, and assistance to people who are elderly, have a disability, or need home healthcare. We also offer health-promoting measures and support to people who care for and support a relative. Our goal is that those who need care and assistance in their daily lives should be able to live an independent life as far as possible.

The Health and Healthcare Department is responsible for interventions within home healthcare and rehabilitation. The interventions are carried out by nurses, assistant nurses, rehabilitation assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, who also delegate to care staff in other operational areas based on their profession.
