We are now welcoming a specialist physician to the rheumatology clinic at Ängelholm Hospital.

The hospital is centrally located in a beautiful natural setting next to the Rönne River, with the train station and city center just a few minutes' walk away.

The Medical Service Area (VO) Medicine consists of three inpatient wards, outpatient clinics such as rheumatology, neurology, pulmonology and allergy, gastroenterology, cardiology, diabetes and endocrinology, nephrology and dialysis, as well as a day-care medical ward.

The rheumatology clinic works in a cross-professional and team-based manner, valuing a good work environment. We strive for all different professional categories to contribute to the patient's best health, safety, experience, and well-being. The clinic operates in primary/outpatient care and is a well-functioning unit with an established team of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and medical secretaries. We are also responsible for teaching and supervising medical students. The rheumatology clinic handles the investigation and treatment of moderate to severe forms of acute and chronic inflammatory joint diseases as well as rheumatic systemic diseases.

Job Description

The role includes clinic work, rheumatology consultations, and participation in on-call duties. We work in teams, so the assignment involves close collaboration with other professional categories in the rheumatology section. You will have the opportunity to develop through stimulating interactions with your colleagues in the entire team and with patients. Qualifications

We welcome you who are a licensed physician and specialist in rheumatology with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish language corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement.

You have good professional skills, are confident in your role as a physician, and see the individual needs of each patient. Furthermore, you have a flexible approach that provides the prerequisites for planning and carrying out your workday in the best possible way. As a person, you are good at listening and clear in your communication. You have good collaboration skills and are eager to exchange knowledge and experiences with others in the work group, as well as having an interest in education and research. You take responsibility for your work in an engaged manner and with a positive attitude. You see opportunities in changes and are eager to take initiatives for improvements in the operations from a holistic perspective. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
