We are now welcoming a nurse to the neurology clinic at Helsingborg Hospital. We are a specialist clinic that, in addition to outpatient care, also conducts day care. Here, neurological diseases such as stroke, epilepsy (EP), multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), brain tumors, and migraines are investigated and treated. We work as a team with these neurological diagnoses. Currently, we have eight neurologists, three resident doctors, five nurses, one nursing assistant, and four medical secretaries working with us.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse at the neurology clinic, you will have a varied workday with a lot of responsibility. You will have the opportunity to work with telephone advice and your own clinic as well as in day care, where we provide medication treatments. We work cross-professionally and strive to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. Here, the unique needs of the patient are at the center, and our team spirit is characterized by commitment, responsiveness, and structure.

Our clinic is characterized by a warm and positive atmosphere with a good mood, where we work together for a good work environment with the patient's best interest in focus. The position is a fixed-term employment for about one year.

QUALIFICATIONS

Regarding formal requirements, you are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale is required. Experience in neurology and/or outpatient work is an advantage.
