JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer a varied, meaningful, and independent job where you make a real difference in people's everyday lives.

The position involves 50% work with area responsibility with usual tasks within municipal rehabilitation, and 50% work in the municipality's cognitive team.

As an area manager, you will be part of our rehabilitation group consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants. The tasks include ADL and activity assessments, assistive device prescriptions, housing adaptation assessments, as well as guidance and training for patients and staff. You will be involved in quality and development work and work health-promoting with a focus on early and preventive measures.

As part of Sjöbo municipality's cognitive team, you will work together with Silvia sister and Silvia nurse providing support, advice, and information to individuals with cognitive impairment or dementia and their relatives, as well as guidance and training for staff. Collaboration with case managers, regional representatives, and other professionals within the municipality is a natural part of the assignment.

You will play an important role in creating security, structure, and quality of life for individuals with cognitive impairment and their relatives based on your professional expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed occupational therapist with extensive experience working with individuals with cognitive impairments.

You work independently and make your own decisions but have a good ability to collaborate and pedagogically share knowledge and information.

You are engaged, attentive, communicative, and have a good approach.

Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing as well as good computer skills.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A driver's license is a requirement.
