In the spring, we are looking for more care assistants for our special accommodations for the elderly (nursing homes).

The municipality of Lund has accommodations both in central Lund and in the towns of Genarp, Stångby, Södra Sandby, and Veberöd.

With us, you will have the opportunity to develop and be stimulated, among other things through training, ambassador roles, and areas of responsibility.

We offer full-time employment (100%) without split shifts. Our full-time measure is 36 hours and 20 minutes per week, giving you more free time in your daily life.

The working hours are scheduled day and evening shifts, as well as every other weekend, between 07:00 and approximately 21:30.

In Lund, we actively work to be at the forefront when it comes to digital working methods – both in the services provided to users and in your work as an employee. Examples of this include mobile safety alarms, digital locks, work schedules, and signing via mobile phone.

We are looking for you

who has a degree as a care assistant. You are confident in your role and have experience working in care and support with a person-centered and rehabilitative approach. We prefer that you have previously worked in special accommodations for the elderly, and it is an advantage if you have worked with users with cognitive impairment/dementia.

You need to be accustomed to performing medical tasks according to delegation. You can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and have good computer skills to document and establish implementation plans.

About the role and tasks

As a care assistant in Lund, you help and support our users with care work based on their wishes and needs according to approved assistance. You assist our users with personal care, service efforts, and perform medical interventions on the delegation of a nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist.

Your work includes documenting in Lifecare according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. As a care assistant, you will design implementation plans, document, evaluate, and contribute to ensuring that the operation maintains good quality. We follow up on quality in national registers such as BPSD, SveDem, and Senior Alert. You are also an active part of planning, team, and quality work.
