About Us

The Clinic for Surgery and Urology is a large clinic that includes an emergency and trauma section, breast and plastic surgery section, colorectal section, vascular section, urology section, and upper gastro section, as well as an endoscopy reception that also includes IBD activities with gastroenterologists. We also have a growing surgical ward. We strive to offer the population in the Sörmland region surgical care and treatment with high competence and quality.

Your Responsibilities

You are the clinic's face to the outside world. Many emails and phone calls go through you. You welcome and introduce newly hired doctors, candidates, and interns. Colleagues turn to you for help and support in many different matters. You maintain and update our website and current documents such as memos. You are responsible for the documentation of patient cases. An important role is to assist the operations manager in various matters, follow the clinic's annual schedule, plan and book meetings, and write and send out meeting notes. You help prepare materials for various meetings. In consultation with the medical manager and scheduler, you are responsible for reviewing and identifying staffing needs, which can occur suddenly.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with training as a medical secretary or nursing assistant with experience from surgical specialties or equivalent, as well as very good knowledge of the Swedish language. Experience with scheduling, handling Heroma, and previous experience in management work is an advantage. Being the spider in the web and being able to handle many balls in the air simultaneously, stress-resistant, and hardworking are important qualities. Taking initiative, engagement, good collaboration skills, social competence, flexibility, availability, and a positive attitude in contact with patients and colleagues are highly valued qualities. The position requires good structure, as well as order and tidiness in your work. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Permanent employment preceded by a 6-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement.
