Analytical Systems Specialist in Transport

MediCarrier is the logistics and transport company for healthcare in the Stockholm region.

Our mission is significant for the daily lives of nearly a quarter of Sweden's population. Every day, all year round, we create conditions for our colleagues in healthcare to perform their work. By ensuring that important blood samples are transported for analysis and that products such as test tubes, surgical materials, and protective equipment are always available, we contribute to the healthcare of the Stockholm region. It is a responsibility that is not always noticed but is crucial for the healthcare system to function safely and securely. Without the right conditions at the right time, healthcare stops.

At MediCarrier, you are part of a socially important mission, right in the midst of everyday healthcare.

We are looking for an analytical systems specialist in transport

We are seeking an analytical systems specialist in transport for MediCarrier's business area Transport Services, who wants to work practically with configuration, troubleshooting, and analysis in our transport systems – where order flow, planning, and follow-up are interconnected.

Description

The role involves configuring systems, ensuring data quality, and ensuring that the systems function stably in everyday life. You analyze how system logic, master data, and integrations affect our transport processes and goods flows.

You contribute with analyses during changes, investigations, or larger adjustments in the business. This may involve producing and structuring data, conducting flow-related analyses, or providing technical documentation related to transport systems and processes.

You work at the interface between transport systems, integrations (EDI/API), and the business's working methods. The role belongs to the business area Transport Services, where you work closely with transport developers and report to the business area manager.

Some of your key responsibilities

  • Configure and adjust parameters in the transport system Opter and adjacent systems
  • Troubleshoot system-related issues and analyze data as needed
  • Ensure quality in master data and information flows
  • Work with integration flows (EDI/API) and contribute during deviations or changes
  • Produce, structure, and analyze data during investigations or changes
  • Participate in system changes, testing, and further development
  • Support the business in system-related questions
  • Contribute to related tasks within transport services, analysis, and process development

To thrive and succeed in the role

You have post-secondary education in logistics, computer science, industrial economics, or equivalent work experience that has given you a good understanding of systems within transport and logistics.

You have worked in a transport or logistics system and have been involved in configuration, troubleshooting, adjustments, or improvements of the system. You are interested in both technology and business and curious about how systems are built behind the interfaces. You want to understand how data, flows, and working methods are interconnected.

You have a solid foundation and now want to deepen your knowledge and become really skilled in transport systems, integrations, and flow analysis.

We believe you have:

  • Experience with transport systems or similar logistics systems
  • Practical experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and reviewing data
  • Good knowledge of Excel and experience in structuring and processing data
  • The ability to analyze flows and draw conclusions as needed

It is a merit if you also have:

  • Experience working with integration flows, for example via EDI or API
  • Basic knowledge of databases or SQL and working with data extraction
  • Experience in system implementation, upgrades, or other system changes
  • Experience in roles that combine system support, analysis, and business development

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and curious.

You enjoy working closely with systems and have the patience to troubleshoot, understand connections, and find sustainable solutions. You like to immerse yourself in problems and are driven to make systems and working methods function stably in everyday life.

What do we offer you?

When you start your employment, you will receive a well-thought-out introduction program to quickly get into the role and understand both your part and MediCarrier's part in the Stockholm region.

The role is a permanent full-time position based in Lunda/Spånga. There is the possibility of remote work a couple of days a week.

MediCarrier offers, among other things, a wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK, subsidized SL card, salary exchange, and corporate gym.

This is a mission for you who want to contribute your expertise where it really makes a difference!
