Workplace Description

The Case Management Section is responsible for developing one of the Police Authority's largest case management systems, which includes the digital citizen meeting and a large part of the internal IT support used within the authority. The section currently consists of three groups that have overall responsibility for requirements specification, design, development, and management of systems that also include several integrations with other systems within the authority. We are now looking for system developers who want to help build a top-class case management system with a focus on the citizen meeting.

Job Description

In this role, you will participate in the development and quality assurance of a large and prioritized new development assignment within the Police Authority. We are building an IT solution according to the needs of the business, based on microservice-oriented architecture and applications developed in Java and React. An exciting journey that affects both citizens and internal users within the Police.

You will be part of a team with driven developers, project leaders, requirements analysts, and technical specialists who work agilely, closely with the business. We work together towards effect goals such as creating conditions for increased legal certainty, more efficient processing with good quality, and increased benefit for citizens.

Your main tasks may include:

  • Further develop sustainable, secure, and robust systems
  • Contribute to the choice of technology, frameworks, and architecture
  • Ensure high quality in architecture, code, and documentation

Qualifications

This is an opportunity for you who have:

  • Relevant post-secondary education in IT or equivalent acquired work experience that the Police Authority assesses as equivalent
  • Several years of work experience in system development, recently, with a focus on Java and Spring Boot
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Swedish citizenship

It is an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience of similar work in a larger complex organization, preferably within the judicial system, which the Police Authority assesses as relevant
  • Work experience in one or more of the following:

- Linux

- Jenkins

- GitOps

- MySQL

- OpenShift

- Kubernetes

- Test automation, preferably with Cypress

- React

- TypeScript
