Fullstack Developer at the Swedish eHealth Agency

Are you someone who wants to code for something bigger than just the next feature? Do you want to dive deep into technology while improving the health of all of Sweden? Then this could be the role for you.

About the Position

As a fullstack developer, you will work in a cross-functional agile team where you will deliver value together. You will switch between backend in Java/Quarkus and frontend in Vue. We work qualitatively at all levels through both development and test automation. The team collectively takes responsibility for quality, helps each other where needed, and drives the development of our digital health data solutions. We strive to be at the forefront of technology, and you will have both personal responsibility and a clear role in the whole.

We are on a journey where technology, data, and societal benefit meet. To ensure that Sweden has a more cohesive and accessible digital healthcare system, we are looking for developers who want to create smart solutions with real impact from day one.

About You

We are looking for someone who thrives in a role where you can lead others and set a good example. You enjoy collaborating and have the ability to create engagement and participation within the team. It is second nature for you to drive your own work while also pushing and implementing changes within the team. As a developer, you navigate seamlessly between different tools and environments while being skilled at solving complex problems.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a university degree of at least 180 credits (120 old points) in computer science/IT or equivalent work experience
  • several years of experience in object-oriented programming and/or frontend development in a JavaScript framework
  • experience in leading others
  • good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is a merit for the position if you have:

  • experience with Java, JPA/Hibernate and/or Vue.js
  • experience in integration and performance test automation
  • experience with Quarkus, Spring Boot, or another corresponding modern Java framework for microservices
  • experience with container-based technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
  • experience in configuring pipelines/CI/CD in Jenkins or Gitlab
  • experience in solution architecture in complex system landscapes.
