JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a case officer in the Authority Function for elderly people and people with disabilities, you will work to ensure legal security and participation according to the investigation method IBIC (individual needs in focus). As a case officer, you are responsible for investigating and assessing needs, deciding, and following up on interventions according to the Social Services Act. The role also includes informing and guiding the municipality's citizens to the right support and assistance through meetings with individuals, relatives, other authorities, and care providers.

Your assignment also involves following up and ensuring quality in individual cases and being responsible for outreach activities for the target group. To thrive in the role, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and choose to see opportunities and solutions. In your interactions with others, you are trustworthy and respectful. QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, you need to have a degree in social work or another equivalent education, with good knowledge in applying current legislation and preferably experience in authority operations according to the Social Services Act.

The work requires independence but also demands close collaboration with other professionals around the user. For this, you need to be able to create good working relationships, have strong communication skills, and maintain a professional approach.

Furthermore, we are looking for someone with good organizational skills, knowledge in administration and documentation. You possess social competence, empathetic ability, and are attentive in your contact with applicants. It is important that you work with the individual's needs in focus.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
