About the job

Your tasks at the health center are varied, with the patient in focus. The work includes independent work in the laboratory with sampling and controls, assisting doctors with wounds, skin surgeries, and examinations, such as gynecological. You will also perform common examinations, such as blood pressure measurement and EKG examination. Areas of work such as wound dressings, suture removal, and being responsible for your own clinic may also be included.

You will work both independently and in teams with other staff categories at the health center. Ordering supplies and preparing examination rooms are part of the daily work. We work in the journal system Asynja Visph. Training future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervising students is also part of your role at the health center.

About you

You have documented training as a healthcare assistant and previous experience working at a health center. It is an advantage if you have prior experience in wound care, spirometry, suture removal, blood pressure measurement, and running your own healthcare assistant clinic. Knowledge of the Asynja Visp system is also an advantage.

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills and flexibility in your way of working. The workload is varied and sometimes high, so it is important that you have a good ability to prioritize among your tasks. A professional approach and a good attitude towards customers, patients, and colleagues are a given for you. As of July 1, 2023, the title of healthcare assistant became a protected professional title. This means that you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title healthcare assistant within healthcare and social services.
